Seller's Comments and Description:
A charming vegetable or serving bowl by Ridgway Potteries in their Park Lane Pattern. This pattern dates from the 1950s making this a mid-century modern item. Black geometric pattern in the interior of the bowl is attractive.
The bowl is 8 inches in diameter and 2 1/2 inches tall. There are no chips, cracks or crazing and utensil/usage wear/marks are minimal. This midcentury bowl is in great shape.
The Ridgeway Park Lane china pattern by Margaret Wagg is on the earthenware 'Metro' shape by Tom Arnold for Ridgway & Adderley (mid-1950s). The maker's mark reads "Park Lane Ridgway Est. 1792 Made in Staffordshire England All Colours Guaranteed Underglaze and Detergent Proof."
