Seller's Comments and Description:

Listing is for a very nice set of 4, gently used vintage Lenox Temper-ware salad plates in the Percussion pattern (produced in the 1970s). I found two versions of this pattern - trim is either on or off the edge.

Temperware was created by Lenox in 1972 as one of the first ceramic tablewares that could go from freezer to oven or microwave safely.

These sturdy vintage salad plates are in great condition - no chips or crazing. One plate has a small chip on the rim (top left plate - top edge) and the fronts show minor stacking wear. See photos for details.

The Temperware salad plates are 7 7/8th inches in diameter. The back stamp reads "Temper-ware by Lenox Microwave Oven Safe Freezer-to-Oven-to-Table-to-Dishwasher Percussion Lenox Made in U.S.A."
